We are pleased to announce that Dominic Côté has joined the Canerector team as Vice President. During his time as President and General Manager of Design Filtration Microzone (DFMZ), Dominic led the successful development of the DFMZ team, consolidated the team into one location from two, and built a comprehensive growth strategy. The insight and knowledge that he brings from his time at DFMZ coupled with his previous experience in sales, operations, and finance has already been a great addition to the Canerector team during this transition.
With this change, we are also pleased to announce that Shannon Duncan has accepted the role of GM for DFMZ, effective immediately. Shannon has been the Director of Operations for DFMZ for two years and, at the end of 2020, he was appointed interim General Manager in addition to his Operations role. During this time, he has implemented strategic operations approaches that have improved workflow and efficiencies, as well as developing cross-training for the shop team and creating an effective onboarding culture to support the growth of the team and the company. He has worked closely with various departments across DFMZ to help ensure an effortless customer experience. Shannon has over 20 years of experience within the services, distribution, and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining DFMZ, he held multiple senior roles such as Senior Manager of Technical Services and Branch Manager at Acklands Grainger, as well as Service Manager and Branch Manager at G&K Services.
