Canerector Inc would like to announce that Prescor LLC has been acquired and will now be part of the Conrex Steel Ltd group of companies. The acquisition will expand the reach of Conrex Steel, one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of ASME-code heads for tanks and pressure valves, into the US market, providing expanded regional delivery channels and efficiencies.
“This is a significant step in Conrex Steel’s long term expansion strategy and the benefits to both companies will be substantial,” stated Daniel Lee, Vice-President, Canerector. “The Prescor team has established a strong reputation for high-quality, deep expertise and dedicated customer service. We are excited to welcome Prescor to the Canerector family, and look forward to supporting Conrex and Prescor’s continued growth.”
Organizational culture was a big consideration. “We have had conversations with Canerector for over 10 years, and know them well enough to feel they will act in the best interests of our employees, as well as grow the company further”, said Wally and Tom Trepp, the owners of Prescor.
“There is a genuine synergy between our two companies”, said Larry Harrison, President of Conrex Steel. “Our offerings are very similar, which will allow us to service the North American market even more efficiently. But more than that, what attracted us to Prescor is their values; the way they do business. Just like Conrex, they focus on people and quality.”
