2023 Modern Day Slavery Report

In accordance with Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (the “Act”), on behalf of Canerector Inc. (“Canerector”, “we”, “us” or “our”), below is our 2023 Modern Day Slavery Report (the “Report”), for the January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 reporting period. The Report aims to identify and assess risks of forced and/or child labour (“Modern Slavery”) within our applicable subsidiaries’1 (the “Subsidiaries”) operations and supply chains. It also outlines the actions taken by the Subsidiaries to address, reduce, and prevent Modern Slavery. We understand that slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking are issues of increasing global concern, affecting all sectors, regions, and economies.

Canerector is incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act with a registered and head office located at 1 Sparks Avenue, North York, Ontario, M2H 2W1. Canerector owns and operates manufacturing businesses across North America in a diverse range of end industries including but not limited to aerospace, agriculture, energy, forestry, infrastructure, mining, and transportation. While Canerector itself does not produce or import goods, the Subsidiaries engage in these activities. Canerector, as a holding company, substantially relies on the efforts of its Subsidiaries, as the operating business, for the purposes of managing and monitoring its supply chain operations to ensure compliance with the Act.

The only Subsidiaries to which the reporting obligations of the Act apply is Nordstrong Equipment Ltd. (“Nordstrong”) and they have made their own independent submission under the Act. The Subsidiaries’ report will be found on their website.
